What will be on show?
Contemporary Art, Modern Art, Fine Art, Urban Art, Photography Art, Illustrations, Printmaking, Digital Art, Sculptures and much more…
Who is exhibiting?
Exhibiting with us will be the award-winning artist Ellen Stapleton who recently won Barcelona Showcase Artist Award and received great feedback, Ellen who is an Australian artist, designer and illustrator, has traveled extensively through Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Her work is inspired by her love of street art, tattoo design and nature, as well as Hindu, Buddhist and Islamic artwork. Specialising in both painting and digital art, she creates colourful and elaborate artwork portraying scenes of a vibrant Utopia full of beauty, energy and creation. A definite must-see at Amsterdam Showcase!
Alongside other amazing galleries from around the world, also exhibiting will be Art Gallery ARTspaceSwitzerland with five of their amazing artists: Niki Passath, Austrian Media Artist – Naoki Fuku, Japanese – British object artist – Philipp Felle, Swiss collage artist – Chris Wagner, Swiss installation artist – Roy Andres Hofer, Swiss conceptual artist. The exhibited artworks will represent a unique investment opportunity for interested buyers. The works can be purchased for an equitable price, with the potential – as they are presenting artists who are as yet unknown – that in the near future the works will appreciate considerably. “This is the basis of our claim: Invest now, or buy dearly!”
Another great artist Olivia J Kapoor, from Phoenix AZ will be exhibiting four exclusive pieces that she specially created for the event, which are of great complexity both in colors and content – while using Acrylic on canvas. Olivia, who is 25 years of age, says the following about her art: “a playful environment for the viewer are the sorts of things that set my work apart from others. Amongst my colleagues, I am most known for creating work that is described as “eye catching”. Another must-see at Amsterdam Showcase!
Highly-acclaimed London-based artist Lauren Jay Wondra aka the ‘Girly Picasso‘ with a loyal international fan base and winner of the 2012 Escapist Artist international competition, who also be exhibiting at Amsterdam Showcase is currently creating the most pivotal paintings of her art career yet. Lauren’s work combines the cubist form of Pablo Picasso with the bold and vivacious colour schemes typical of Henri Matisse. This wild combination boasts her love of retro styling and passion for all things capricious and whimsical.
And what would Amsterdam Showcase be without some of the great Dutch artists themselves. Jan van Well, painter with a great passion for oil paint. Impasto (painting in thick layers) is the approach he takes. He dedicates himself with the fundamentals of the art of painting: paint, canvas and tools. Primarily he paints from his feeling of the days and entrusts this to the painting. The movement and action are captured in the tracks of the paint. His style is both recognisable and extraordinary.
Also exhibiting will be Dutch urban artist BarryBoem, who tells us the following about his work: “What began as a personal journey (of Boomism), has translated into collages of all sorts of images that resonate with us and our own thoughts.” His art tries to embody an idiosyncratic view of human nature, yet the familiar imagery allows a connection between fantasy and how the world is presented to us.
Another Dutch artist is the emerging painter Mart van Dongen(1985) born and bred in Amsterdam. At a young age Mart worked in Australia, and traveled around Africa which became a very special place to him. Mart’s first love is Art, ever since a young age he was very creative and coming from an artistic background has certainly helped him towards an ambitious art career. Mart is very excited about showing at Amsterdam Showcase and we are looking forward seeing his works on display.
Alongside these talented exhibitors we have great galleries from Spain, Switzerland, South-Africa, UK, Netherlands… They will be representing the artworks of some very creative and high-profile established artists. Another great reason to come and visit Amsterdam Showcase!
