Top emerging contemporary Artists & Galleries are coming together from all over the globe to Barcelona for the one-day pop-up Art exhibition. Artists from as far as El Salvador, India, UK, US, South Africa, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Greece, Netherlands, will be coming to Barcelona to exhibit at the ‘Barcelona Showcase 2013′ exclusive art event. They will be exhibiting their work at Gaudi’s ‘Casa Batllo’, giving the Spanish art-loving audience the opportunity to buy art directly from the fine artists, and to invest in a contemporary piece of art that will be on show at the exhibition.
Barcelona Showcase, Saturday 27th April 2013 international art exhibition at Casa Batllo -announced as one of world’s top emerging art events- presents a unique opportunity to buy contemporary art directly from the artist. Over 150 artists will be flying into Barcelona from all over the world to exhibit with Barcelona Showcase, organised by The Global Art Agency.
Bringing art enthusiasts together from around the globe at one of Europe’s greatest monument “Casa Batllo” by Gaudi, the UNESCO building (1904) is located in the heart of the city, and is the most emblematic work of the brilliant Catalan architect.
Barcelona Showcase will open their doors on Saturday 27th April at 10.00am (free entry). Expect a fine selection of Contemporary Art, paintings, photography art, illustrations, printmaking and also sculptures.
At 18.00pm the red carpet will be out to welcome VIP guests invitees and ticket holders for the Private View and Champagne Reception, giving the VIPs the opportunity to look for that special art piece whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly and socialising with other like-minded art collectors and enthusiasts. At 19.30pm the Global Art Awards ceremony will be starting off announcing the ‘Barcelona Showcase Best Artist Award’, and the ‘Global Best Artist Award, Spring 2013’ juried by well-known Catalan artist and winner of the Plastic Arts Award: Robert Llimós.

Newly established “The Artboards”, bringing original handmade artworks and skateboard decks together. The Artboards are a unique limited edition and refreshing authentic contemporary art novice collectables made from high quality 7 ply Maple canadian wood. With a worldwide fan base, selling The Artboards at Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam, and also in Tokyo, this is a must-see (and a must-buy) at Barcelona Showcase 2013.
Artist Tatiana Loguinova is a young, internationally renowned Russian concert pianist with a deep passion for art photography. Her pieces are very intimate visual impressions and expressions of music she performs or listens to…emotions and dreams, transformed in colours and forms…visual poetry of rhythm and sound.
Antonio Climent Pop Up Gallery works with emergent artists and consagrated artists. They bring to Barcelona Showcase the work of: Jaume Mestres Estartús, an established Spanish artist who works as both informalism, figurativism as abstract expressionism.
Roderique “Dracorubio” Arisiaman, Dutch artist working with photography as his canvas to create imaginative worlds. The works he displays show a rich world that invokes both dreams and nightmares, blending in fears and desires.
Catherina Zavodnik – Slovenija, who’s work reflect the feminine, the mystic, the exciting and the primeval with historical examples.
Johnny Maroun – Lebanese artist who turns violence into a creative force, using weapons as a paintbrush to illustrate the effects of bloodshed in his country.
Aneela Fazal – Pakistani born modern abstract painter from Portland, Oregon USA working with layered textures and bright colours achieving stunning artworks.
Nigar Kerimova – Azerbaijan, Passionate landscapes artist creating paintings of his native land.
Jan Huss – Germany, showcasing a series of artworks that doesn’t just show unloving high-tech robots. It reverses the point of view and portraies robots with a human touch.
